Bill Tjaden, PT
All physical therapy services with Still Point Therapies are conducted by myself. You will always work directly with me and receive the best care possible for the 60 minutes of your appointment. The office is located inside the Woodstock Pelvic Health practice. There are also three other excellent practitioners here in the building who provide the services detailed below. We all work in collaboration to maximize your healing potential and to ensure you are being heard and meeting your goals.
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Judy Rossi, PT, PHC
Judy Rossi graduated from physical therapy school at California State University at Long Beach. She later received her doctorate in physical therapy and her pelvic health certification through Evidence in Motion. Judy began her journey in pelvic health after spending most of her career as an orthopedic physical therapist, most recently as co-owner of a large outpatient orthopedic practice in Cherokee County before selling it in 2019. It was her own physical challenges that were solved through pelvic health physical therapy that motivated her to specialize in pelvic health herself. While this occurred later in her career, she has truly found her passion in this realm. Opening her new business, Woodstock Pelvic Health, will allow her to provide compassionate care to those with pelvic health challenges. She believes in a holistic approach to healing, seeing the pelvic floor as just one of the parts of the whole body, not treated in isolation. She enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and family. She has a passion for exercise, health and wellness, travel, reading, hiking and considers herself a lifelong learner. Judy enjoys working closely with other practitioners of healing to provide patients with a team approach as needed.
Psychiatry
Samantha Pruitt, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC
Samantha Pruitt, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a dual board certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner who believes in the power of empathy, respect, and an integrative approach to mental health. After having her own medical concerns dismissed time after time, she practices with a deep commitment to actually listening to her patients (such a radical concept!) and working together to meet patient goals for treatment.
Sam has honed her expertise in addressing a wide range of mental health challenges but specializes in working with those with autism, ADHD, PTSD, and substance abuse disorders. Personal experience with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and several of its annoying comorbidity buddies has made her well-versed in the challenges of navigating chronic illness and the effects they can have on one's mental health.
Pelvic Floor/Myofascial Physical Therapy
Jenny Thompson, PT
Jenny Thompson graduated from physical therapy school at GA State University in 1997. She has spent most of her career as an orthopedic physical therapist in both the Canton and Jasper area. She believes in treating the body as a whole and has extensive training in myofascial release. Listening to her patients over the many years of working as a physical therapist discuss pelvis related issues encouraged her to specialize in pelvic health. Jenny now has a passion for the field of women’s health and demonstrates compassion and empathy when treating her patients. Her main goal as a physical therapist is to empower her patients while treating issues related to pelvic health.
She enjoys spending time with her husband Jet as well as her five active teenagers. When not treating patients she is often watching her children play multiple sports, attending church with her family, hiking, reading, teaching boxing classes for participates with Parkinson’s and practicing yoga. Jenny enjoys traveling and hopes to visit new places in the coming years. Being a native Cherokee County resident and coming from a large local family she feels blessed to be able to treat patients in this area and work closely with other practitioners of healing to give her patients the best care possible. Jenny believes the most important component of healing is a therapeutic touch and working with patients with pelvic health challenges allows her to be able to help many patients feel their best and enjoy their life to the fullest.
